Osteoarthritis

Regeneration of cartilage and relief of inflammation through CS30MS02

Osteoarthritis - 코아스템(주)
  • Development stage: pre-phase clinical trial in progress
  • Mechanisms of action: regeneration of cartilage cells
  • Injection route : Joint injections

Cartilage damage is caused by osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and trauma. If it is damaged by lack of bloodstream in the cartilage area, natural restoration of normal joint cartilage is not possible. The most common form of arthritis, osteoarthritis (OA) is the most common joint disease in the elderly population. It shows structural and functional changes in the joints caused by the degeneration of joint cartilage.

As a result of injection of CS30MS02 to into the joint space in animal models of osteoarthritis, it was confirmed by the non-clinical trial that it is proliferated to cartilage cells and has proliferation induced effects of existing chondrocytes.

We are performing non-clinical trial now and plan to enter into clinical trials.
